The journey of Vikas Group of Companies began in 1995 under the visionary leadership of our Founder, Late Shri Motilalji Agrawal. With a strong belief in hard work, discipline, dedication and long-term vision with positive thoughts, he started the business with a clear purpose — to build an organization founded on trust, integrity and sustainable growth. With limited resources but unwavering determination, he personally nurtured the business through every challenge and opportunity, laying a strong foundation for the generations to come. His entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to excellence and ability to look beyond the present transformed a humble beginning into a growing and diversified business group. The values he believed in continue to guide us even today and remain at the heart of everything we do. The Legacy Continues
The vision that began in 1995 under the pioneering leadership of our Founder, Late Shri Motilalji Agrawal, was carried forward with the same passion, commitment and determination by his son and Co-Founder, Shri Nagesh Motilal Agrawal. A Commerce Graduate, Shri Nagesh Motilal Agrawal joined the business with a deep understanding of the values and principles established by his father. With a strong foundation built on hard work, discipline, dedication and integrity, he took forward his father’s vision with renewed energy and a progressive approach. Under his leadership, the business continued to grow while staying firmly rooted in the principles on which it was founded. His ability to combine traditional values with professional management, strategic thinking and a long-term vision has played an important role in strengthening and expanding the organization. For Shri Nagesh Motilal Agrawal, business is not merely about growth — it is about building lasting relationships, creating sustainable value and carrying forward a legacy with responsibility and purpose. Today, the growth and evolution of Vikas Group of Companies stand as a testament to the combined legacy of vision, perseverance and values passed from one generation to the next.

Mr. Vikas Motilal Agrawal, Founder & Managing Director, joined the family business at the young age of 21 with a clear vision to take the organization to greater heights. From the very beginning, his sharp business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and forward-looking approach enabled him to identify emerging opportunities and transform them into sustainable business ventures. With a strong belief in diversification, innovation and long-term growth, Mr. Vikas Motilal Agrawal played a pivotal role in expanding the group’s presence across key sectors including Coal Washery, Dry Port and Logistics, taking the business to a new level of scale and capability. His approach has always been driven by a combination of strategic vision, calculated decision-making, operational excellence and an unwavering commitment to growth. He has successfully blended the family’s traditional business values with a modern and progressive outlook, creating a platform for the organization to compete, evolve and grow in an increasingly dynamic business environment. For Mr. Vikas Motilal Agrawal, expansion is not simply about entering new businesses — it is about creating opportunities, building strong infrastructure, developing long-term partnerships and establishing businesses that deliver sustainable value.
